THE YOUNG LION AND EAGLET
Like a Miranda in the
cloud
Is a state of a new born
eaglet
Not swallowing the life
chicken’s carcasses
Is the endless journey of
an eaglet
Trumpeters
are blaring loud
The
tune of a golden eaglet
Who
never let go
The
price of a pace setter
I
desire the golden rule
Of
the wild eaglet
Despite
incorruptible desire
To
create inevitable mark
Upon
the heart and memory of men
Mbonu!
Has not given up on
The
steady moves and moods
Of
a golden rules of an eaglet
The
paving speed up
Above
the sky
The
diving stringent
Against
the prey
And
tireless spreads of wings
On
the sky to reach destination
I
desire the eagle and eaglet rules
But
the symposium of earth
Is
working against all guts
The
odds of live
Is
prevailing against humanity
Who
can ask the eaglet the way?
When
the eagle seems to be asleep?
That
is the way of the God’s Kingdom
We
cannot do without the creator
Who
fashioned everything
For
us his servants
As
His ambassadors on earth
We
are like the eaglet
Leaning
on the Almighty the eagle
Through
His son Jesus Christ the eagle
Emissaries
of peace and equity
Commanders
of loyalty and dignitaries
Are
His servants in golden mood
God
is the crown
The
wisdom of men
The
Excellency of Jacob
The
price beater of the Kingdom
And
the generator of His power house
Eaglets
are the Kings of the Birds
Symbolic
of Christians as high flyers
Young
lions are kings of animal
Symbolic
of ordinary men
But
young lions due lack
But
eaglets never lack
Because
of unique strength and wings
To
travel beyond
Than
young lions which are limited
In
a particular terrestrial environment
Eaglets
live in atmosphere
Young
lion lives in mesosphere
Both
have unique strength
But
Eaglets lives both mesosphere and atmosphere
Both
lives in terrestrial
But
eaglet lives both celestial and terrestrial
I
envy the celestial home of an eaglet
Because
I desire to be there
But
I am limited
Said
the young Lion
Then
who is the strongest?
The
Lion or eagle?
The
young lion or eaglet?
I
need an answer?
The
Eaglet
That
soars on high
To
fish the best from the world

DESCRIPTION: The Poem “The Young
Lion and Eaglet” is an African Poem that tends to depict the symbolism of these
two animals as to comparing it to human nature. The poet is letting us to
understand that the young Lions are human beings who are ordinary men with
worldly knowledge and understanding of rudimental system of this world which makes
them dominate their environment alone. But the eaglets are symbol of human
being as well but with divine qualities which are only found in the word of God.
These qualities make men eaglets to dominate the whole world because men are
created to dominate according to Genesis
1:27-28.
GENESIS 1:27-28
(27) “And
God went on to create man in His image
In
God’s image he created him; male and female
He
created them
(28) Further,
God blessed them, and God said to them
“
Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and
Subdue
it, and have in subjection the fish of sea,
And
the flying creatures of heavens and every
Living
creature that is moving on the earth”
And man cannot dominate the world without
proper knowledge of the creator of the world who will give them quality and the
key to creation.
From line 1-4: The
poet let us to know that the eaglet which is the young eagle at birth is very
beautiful bird in the sky; pointing out that the eaglet does not feed on dead
animals which the poet refers as “Chicken
Carcasses” being the symbolism of Christians
who does not depend on worldly knowledge for sustenance which the poet
refers as “Chicken Carcasses”. Eaglets
here are symbolism of Christians and
“Chicken Carcasses” are symbolism of worldly knowledge. Wild life or fresh animal are symbolism of word of God. So eaglets feed on Fresh
animal which is the symbolism of word of God. And the poet let us to know that
this is the endless habit of eaglet.
From line 3-8: The poet let us to know that people must talk about a young eagle which is being seen ones in a blue moon.
Using this to qualify the lifestyle of a Christian, which people see as a
difficult rule to keep and he admires the people that can maintain that life,
which they cannot meet up with its standards and demands. The poet describing
the life style of God’s standard as “the
tune of a golden eaglets”. The poet let us understand that as the young
eagles flies without getting tired right above the sky, so is life of a
Christian who will never compromise status until he/she sets standard of Christ
for people to emulate which Saint Paul
the apostle did according to the Holy
Bible book of Acts of the Apostle.
From line 9-12: The poet continues to say that he desires the golden
rules of the wild eaglet which is the symbolism of lifestyle of God’s saints or
Christians. The poet let us to understand that irrespective of incorruptible
desire of a God’s saint to set a standard for people on planet earth, that he
still admires the lifestyle of a Christian or God’s saint.
From line 13-16: The
poet still on admiring the lifestyle of God’s saint called on Mbonu! Which is an African name of a
Christian who has backslidden from faith which the Poet described as “the steady move and mood” of a golden
rule of eaglet which is the lifestyle of a Christian or God’s saints.
From line 17-20: The
poet begins to describe the ways of an soaring eaglet above the sky which
comprises its paving speed up and diving nature when it sites a prey for food
relating it to sacrifices a Christian pays in suffering with Christ. So he can
reign with him as well. These qualities comprise evangelism, fasting and
prayer, church services etc. to keep the faith moving.
From line 21-24: The Poet continues with describing the qualities of eaglets’
right above the sky which he also specifies as tireless spreads of wings until it gets to its destination meaning
continues spreading of gospel of Christ in season and out of season until a Christian
gets to heaven which the poet let us know that it is the centre of discussion
by unbelievers on earth and he also described as “symposium of the earth”.
From line 25-28: The Poet continues to let us know that the “symposium of the earth” which is the
views of the worldly people about Christianity and faith is what is weighing
the saints down in their believes as the poet also describes it as “Odds of life of a Christian” which symbolizes Trials and Temptations a Christian must overcome. The poet let us
to know that these trials and temptations
has prevailed against and limited human nature already. The poet continues
to tell us to ask the eaglets which are Christians the way? That is how these have
prevented the human nature according the poet.
From line 29-32: The Poet continues on the rhetorical question of human
nature and specifies that we can ask God’s
servants the way which is the symbol of eaglets in the preceding line; when God who is the symbol of
eagle here seems asleep. Because God is a spirit, he uses human nature to disseminate
information through His word. The poet continues to let us know that it is the
way to Kingdom of heaven. The poet continues by making us understand that God
is the supreme creator and we cannot do without him.
From line 33-36: The poet continues to make people understand that God’s servants are seen as eaglets in this content. And being ambassadors
of Christ on earth, who are leaning on the Almighty
God who is also seen as the eagle himself
in this content.
From line 37-40: The poet continues to let us know that the eaglet does this through his son Jesus Christ. The eaglets here are God’s
servants through his son Jesus Christ. The poet describes these eaglets as emissaries of peace and equity meaning ambassadors of Christ to institute Peace
and orderliness in the society through the gospel. The poet goes a long way
to tell us that they are commanding respect through their faithfulness and are
celebrated when they are in good mood of their glorious nature.
From line 41-44: The poet continues to let us know that God is the crown meaning the head of the universe; that God
is the main wisdom men need and he
had been the excellence of Jacob
which were the root of David and Jesus Christ our Savior. The poet trying to
let us know, that God is the centre of negotiation for the Kingdom of heaven.
From line 45-48: The poet continues to let us know that God also is the
generator of his power house which is the
church. And Christians being the
symbol of eaglets are the head and leaders
of ordinary men being symbolized as Young Lions in this content; which the poet let us understand that the Young lions can dominate only his family and environment alone. And that Christians are also high flyers just as
eaglets can soar high
From line 49-52: The continues to let us know that Young lions which are symbolic of ordinary men do lacks good things
of life but the eaglets who are symbolic
of Christians cannot lack any good
thing because they have invisible wings which are qualities from Holy Ghost as Christians
which enable their minds to fly and travel far distance part of the world and
fetch their food and needed material things and bring it back to their domains.
This is because it is only God that can establish the thought of a man through
his word. Once your mind can fly to far distance, that means you will fly one
day because as a man thinks in his heart so is that man. You are not beyond
your thought. When you employ God in your life, your mind is renewed by the
word of God. You can now reason like God who created the whole world; so since
God can be everywhere in the world, so you can be everywhere in the world as
well through his word because he has created you in own image and likeness. This
is why you can sit in a place and dominate your world. The eaglets also can supply food to the Young lions which cannot fly because they don’t have these divine
wings that the eaglets possessed.
So
the Young lions are limited irrespective of his mighty strength but the eaglets are
not limited. The poet trying to let us know that someone can only fly as a
Christian because of God’s word and the Holy Ghost. Not as ordinary person with
the worldly knowledge which
represent the chicken carcasses in
this content but as empowerment from God’s word:
ISAIAH 40:30-31
(30) “Boys
will tire and grow weary; And young men
will
stumble and fall
(31) But
those hoping in Jehovah will regain power
They
will soar on wings like eagles
They
will walk and not tire out”
From line 53-56: The poet continues to let us know that these unique
strength given to Christians is not for them to sit down but for them to travel
beyond their environment and their nations to uttermost part of the world to
spread the good news and that the grace is already released to them for this
exploit. Though, the Young lions
which are ordinary men do not have it. The poet also continues to let us know that
because they don’t have it, they are stagnant in a particular environment. It take
God’s nature to rule the world, and that is why people were able to fashion the
internet, it is not an ordinary mind that accomplished this task, it was a mind
in tune with divinity through the Holy Ghost that brought all these event to
evidence of men.
The
poet continues to let us understand that eaglets have their nest in the
atmosphere; that he lives above the sky: meaning that as Christians our home is
in the heavenly and that is why the bible specifies at the book of COLLOSIAN 3:1-2 of the Holy Bible that
we should set out mind on things above where Christ is residing:
COLLOSIAN 3:1-2
(1) “If
however, you were raise up with the Christ
go
on seeking things above, where the Christ is
seated
at the right hand of God
(2) Keep
your minds fixed on the above, not on the
earth.
From line 57-60: The poet continues with the explanation of the
habitations of the eaglets and the Young lions: He said that both of them
have unique strength but the Young lions
lives on earth and worldly standard which the poet describes as mesosphere meaning land and forest while eaglets
lives on both worldly standard and divine standard which the poet describes
as mesosphere and atmosphere. So the eaglet operates double standards which are divine and worldly which
make him/her unique compares to the Young
lions that operates only worldly standard. So the poet let us understand
that both animals live in the thick forest which he describes as terrestrial environment.
From line 61-64: The poet continues to let us know that eaglets operates on Celestial and
terrestrial environment. The poet now expresses the grievances of the Young lions over these unique qualities
that the eaglets possessed. According
to the poet, he said that the Young lions
desires the celestial home of eaglets which is above, but he is limited by
nature and he dreams to fly and reach there but he cannot because he does not
have the special attributes to fly which can only come through God’s word as a Christian.
From line 65-68: Now the poet begins with the rhetorical questions and
said then who is the strongest amongst the two animals? The lion or eagle? The young lion or
eaglet? Using these to establish the
difference between the two
From line 69-72: The Poet ends by saying that he needs an answer which the
poet still provides the answer as eaglet
that soars high to fish out the best from the world. Now do you want to be
like eaglet? Go for the word of God.
