HURDLES
Call it a day
When the
duties are executed accordingly
The stops over
to seek
And the
Stability of men
Are tested in
hard times
Then you can
prove your worth
When jesting
is like prayer
And a laughing
stock is coming forth
To derail the
pressing steps
I mean you are
a stallion
That can never
be beaten down unexpectedly
When
circulated with gist of mockery
Trying to
climb
Is going
contrary to Stallion’s stroll
But do you
mind the saying?
That deter the
moving moment?
That is a
wasted effort!
And effortless
is the result of shame
Can you buy
time to jump through?
The hurdles
set against you?
And become
what you are expected
But the
Reality is a disease
When not
pursued with zeal and ego
But can you
bring to pass?
The sayings of
the just?
Towards the
Stallion’s progress?
And make
impart to you generation?
Now is the
right time
Arise and
shine
For your light
has come
Because the
glory of God has risen upon you
To create
inevitable remark
Upon humanity
and serenity
Thank God for
your gift
And aspiration
To be the one
That meets up
with demands
Of Divinity and
stability
Mighty is God
And Excellency
is His mercy and grace
Towards His
creature
Says the
stallion Angel
Peace to
humanity
And peace to
divinity
Peace to all
involved
For divinity
has come to be
DESCRIPTION: This is a descriptive poem,
that pin points a man’s experience in a hard time; considering the narrative,
it is a Ballad hyperbolic poem, where the poet is trying to express an ugly
experience in a mild way or form. Looking at the poem critically, we can able
to see that the hurdle as obstacles the poet narrated; but it is not an easy
encounter to the Hero. Let us begin by
stanza to enumerate the quartet:
From line 1-4: The poet is painting the picture of well executed
job, but it is not an easy one to the person that accomplished it. He goes
further to explain how faithful and united they jointly in effort to accomplish
such task as men of integrity.
From line 5-8: The poet continues to paint the picture that it is in
hard times like this, that real men are determined by their effort indeed.
Especially when mockery and Jesting are coming as teasing period because of the
outfit of a small scale business or new venture that looks famine. These forms
the embodiment of the laughing stocks. But who can stand to withstand such
opposition and create a good record? “The men” is the answer.
From line 9-12: The poet continues with descriptive adjective to such
person that has accomplished such demands, by saying “who can hinder the pressing step of a Stallion?”. Describing the
person in quote as a stallion that cannot be beaten down, especially when
surrounded with gist of mockery as a material to bring one down or
discouragement gossip or jesting.
From line 13-16: The poet says “that
the pace of a stallion is like strolling “ but he is hitting a mark with
focus, but trying to climb without focus is like going against the stallion’s
movement. The poet says but would one begin to give attention to the laughing
stocks and mockery that is opposing the present moving moment of the stallion?
From line 17-20: The poet start by saying that it is a wasted effort
to give attention to such allegations; and not making effort towards a
designated direction with focus is the result of shameful condition. The poet
begins with a rhetorical question like “Can’t
you buy time to jump through?”, “The
hurdles set against you”? Trying to paint the picture that there is no room
for dull moment in affairs of destiny.
From line 21-24: The poet continues with aroma of no dull moment in
destiny affairs, and says that when you might have played your part on hard-work,
you will become what you are expected to be; because reality is a disease when
you don’t make effort to pursue them with zeal and ego. But the poet still
throw a question like “Who can bring to
pass?” “What is written already?”
From line 25-28: Then, still on what is written like in the Holy Bible
2 chronicle 20:20, the poet continues
to ask rhetoric questions like “who can
bring the saying of the Just”? “To wards
the stallion’s progress?” So that he can make a great impart to one’s generation?
The poet says “Now is the right time to
create great impart”.
From line 29-32: The Poet says that the Hero should arise and shine,
for his light is on and the glory of God has risen upon him to do so by
creating an inevitable remark upon destinies of humanity and serenity.
From line 33-36: The poet begins with appreciation to ward’s the Hero’s
gift of impartation on humanity as well as his aspirations to do so. By becoming
the one to meet up with such demands;
From line 37-40: The poet begins to liken such demands as divine
assignment and stable assignment to humanity.
The poet also express his appreciation to almighty God for making such
opportunity available and possible by saying “Mighty is God” and “excellency
is His mercy” towards His creatures.
From line 41-46: The Poet said that these appreciation comes from
the Stallion’s guarding Angel who
extends his peace to humanity and divinity as well as to all that is involved
because divinity has come to prevail in affairs of men.
